  • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Abuja.
  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning, design, execution, and supervision of a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving mindset, and excellent leadership skills to ensure that all projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule. The Civil Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with structural standards, safety regulations, and sustainability principles.
  • You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, quantity surveyors, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and passionate about building excellence in every project phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and manage civil and structural works for building and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site assessments, soil tests, and feasibility studies to guide design and construction decisions.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with project specifications.
  • Estimate materials, costs, and timelines for construction works.
  • Review and approve technical drawings and ensure adherence to design intent.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and recommend necessary adjustments.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree or HND qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in construction or civil projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project (or similar software).
  • Strong understanding of structural design, load calculations, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • COREN certification or registration in progress is an advantage
