Job Position: Recovery Officer

Job Locations: Cross River and Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Recovery Officer to join our operations team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the recovery and rescue of vehicles, providing first response assistance in the event of breakdowns, accidents, or road emergencies.
  • This role requires a hands-on individual with strong mechanical awareness, driving competence, and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or other roadside emergencies.
  • Recover, tow, or coordinate the safe transport of vehicles back to designated locations.
  • Perform basic on-site troubleshooting and provide first-level mechanical or electrical assistance.
  • Administer first aid to drivers or passengers when necessary and ensure proper escalation for medical emergencies.
  • Maintain recovery tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent working condition.
  • Keep accurate records of recovery operations and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with the fleet, workshop, and safety teams to ensure efficient rescue operations.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle recovery, towing, or related operations.
  • Valid driver's license (Class E or higher) and excellent driving skills.
  • First Aid certification or proven first responder training is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of truck operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.

Salary

N100,000 monthly.
