Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site WordPress role located in Abuja. The WordPress Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization's website. Key tasks include updating content, optimizing site performance, ensuring responsive design, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing new features. The role also involves collaborating with the communication and public relations teams to ensure accurate, engaging, and timely online content.

Qualifications

  • Experience with WordPress, website maintenance, and design implementation
  • Strong skills in Writing, creating Press Releases, and producing high-quality content
  • Proficiency in Communication, Public Relations, and developing effective strategies to enhance online presence
  • Understanding of New Media platforms and how to utilize them for promotional purposes
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of SEO and website optimization best practices is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Web Development, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
