Job Purpose

:

To provide high-level technical, analytical, and administrative support to the Project Manager in coordinating the implementation of the Financial and Technical Services Agreement (FTSA). The role ensures efficient integration of technical, commercial, and governance workflows across NEPL and COPDC — facilitating performance tracking, issue management, and project delivery alignment with approved Work Program & Budget (WP&B).

Key Responsibilities

:
1.

Technical & Project Coordination

Support the Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and reporting FTSA program execution (drilling, workover, facilities, production, and HCA projects).

Track base vs. incremental production and ensure alignment with annual performance targets.

Consolidate field reports, well intervention data, production variance analyses, and project progress updates into FTSA dashboards.

Coordinate technical and support function inputs for QMR, SUBCOM, and MANCOM meetings.

Governance & Documentation

Maintain and update the FTSA process tracker, Issue Register, and SOP compliance matrix.

Prepare TORs, memos, and presentations for internal and partner reviews.

Ensure all workflows conform to approved FTSA governance, NEPL standards, and NUPRC regulatory requirements.

Manage controlled documentation through the FTSA database (SharePoint and mirrored on-prem servers).

Data Analytics & Reporting

Develop and maintain performance dashboards, hydrocarbon accounting trackers, and variance reports.

Conduct technical and project economic analyses.

Interface with the Data Management and ICT teams on ongoing digital transformation, integration and data reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Coordinate inter-departmental and SUBCOMs communications, ensuring timely circulation of reports, meeting notes, and approvals.

Monitor and follow up with SUBCOMs on NEPL, FMA, and regulatory deliverables.

Support the Project Manager in organizing stakeholder workshops, audits, and review sessions.

Strategic & Administrative Support

Draft correspondence, briefing notes, and high-level summaries for the PM's office.

Track project budgets, AFEs, and expenditures against approved WP&B.

Provide analytical inputs to decision papers, justifications, and investment proposals.

Support PM's participation in executive and board-level reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum of 2–5 years relevant experience in petroleum operations, field development, or project coordination.

Proven competence in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Python) and technical report preparation.

Familiarity with project management systems and documentation platforms (MS Project, SharePoint).

Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is an added advantage.
