Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Content Creator and Social Media Manager. The individual in this role will craft and execute engaging content strategies across various social media platforms, create compelling written and visual content, and monitor platform analytics to optimize engagement. Responsibilities also include managing social media accounts, scheduling updates, and tracking trends to ensure the organization stays relevant. The candidate will collaborate with the team to align content with the organization's mission and target audience. NOTE: This is a volunteer-based role, but compensation is available.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Content Creation, Copywriting, and Graphic Design
  • Strong skills in Social Media Management, including content scheduling, platform management, and audience engagement
  • Understanding of Analytics Tools to track and improve social media performance
  • Experience with Content Strategy, Storytelling, and Campaign Development
  • Effective Collaboration and Communication Skills
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in digital media and social platforms
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
