Our client, a growing agri-tech company providing innovative solutions across the agricultural value chain, is seeking a proactive and organised HR Associate to support day-to-day human resource operations. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, people-oriented, and capable of providing administrative, recruitment, onboarding, and employee-support functions that strengthen organisational culture and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with department heads to understand staffing needs, workforce gaps, and capability requirements, ensuring HR actions align with business goals.
  • Participate in strategic business initiatives, contributing HR expertise to cross-functional

projects, operational improvements, and execution of business ideas.

  • Support strategic planning for recruitment, onboarding, workforce allocation, and talent development across various units.
  • Coordinate end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, documentation, and exit procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Assist in designing and implementing HR initiatives that enhance performance, team collaboration, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
  • Coordinate the performance management cycle, support managers with goal alignment, review timelines, developmental feedback, and documentation.
  • Track performance improvement plans (PIPs), learning programs, training outcomes, and competency-building interventions.
  • Support employee engagement activities, culture-development programs, welfare initiatives, and internal communication efforts.
  • Maintain HR records, statutory documentation, compliance files, and ensure all HR procedures meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Participate in strategic and cross-functional initiatives by supporting HR components within organisational development, workflow improvement, and change-management projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of HR experience (generalist, HR assistant, or HR operations role preferred).
  • Strong understanding of key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems or databases.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must be proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
