Assistant Compliance Officer

The Assistant Compliance Officer will support the Compliance Department in ensuring that the company operates in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The role involves monitoring operations, preparing reports, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance risks are identified and addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance policies and procedures across departments.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Support in the preparation of compliance reports for management and regulators.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Help identify compliance risks and escalate them appropriately.
- Monitor employee adherence to ethical standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide administrative support in maintaining compliance records and registers.
- Assist with training and sensitization programs on compliance, ethics, and regulatory updates.
- Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies when necessary under the supervision of the Compliance Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years' experience in compliance, audit, or related roles (preferred).
- Knowledge of compliance standards, corporate governance, and risk management principles.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
