Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who will also serve as a Full Stack DevOps Engineer at our innovative payments company. In this dual role, you will lead our cybersecurity initiatives, ensure software compliance, and contribute to the architecture and automation of our products. Your expertise in system security engineering, product architecture, and modern DevOps practices will drive the security posture and operational efficiency of our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing comprehensive information security policies and procedures.

● Oversee the full lifecycle of product architecture with a focus on security and compliance standards.

● Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and robust full stack DevOps pipelines.

● Automate processes using strong command line interfaces (CLI) and GitHub Actions to streamline operational workflows.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security engineering and system architecture align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

● Monitor, assess, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities across the product suite.

● Advocate and enforce best practices for software compliance and risk management.

● Act as a subject matter expert on system security, product architecture, and DevOps automation in internal and external forums.

Required Qualifications and Skills

● Extensive experience in information security engineering, ideally in a leadership or CISO role within a technology-driven environment.

● Strong background in full stack development and DevOps engineering with hands-on experience in automation using CLI and GitHub Actions.

● Proven expertise in system security engineering and modern product architecture design.

● In-depth knowledge of software compliance, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the payments sector.

● Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex automations to improve process efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

● Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

● Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials.

● Experience in the payments or financial technology industry.

● Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures, container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience Requirements

● Minimum of 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity, DevOps engineering, and software compliance.

● Demonstrated leadership experience in a security-focused role within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
