Matosi Nigeria Ltd. delivers civil works, construction, fabrication, facility maintenance, and

oil-field services for public and private clients across Nigeria. We're scaling fast and need a

skilled Civil Engineer to support our growing portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Role Summary

Execute civil engineering works across diverse project sites. You'll handle design

interpretation, site supervision, structural analysis, and coordination with other disciplines to

deliver quality infrastructure on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities


• Interpret civil/structural drawings and translate them into executable site activities.


• Supervise civil works including earthworks, foundations, concrete structures,

drainage, and road construction.


• Conduct site surveys, setting out, and quality inspections to ensure work meets

design specifications.


• Prepare material take-offs, method statements, and technical reports for civil scope.


• Coordinate with subcontractors, material suppliers, and other engineering disciplines

on site.


• Support Quantity Surveyors with measurement, variation assessments, and interim

valuations.


• Ensure compliance with Nigerian building codes, standards, and local authority

requirements.


• Travel to urban and remote project locations as required.

Requirements (Must-Have)


• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.


• 8+ years of hands-on civil engineering experience in Nigeria with demonstrated site

delivery.


• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods: reinforced concrete, structural steel,

earthworks, and drainage systems.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project (or equivalent scheduling tools).


• Ability to read and interpret structural and civil engineering drawings.

Strong Advantages


• COREN registration or progress toward it.


• Experience with oil & gas/EPC projects or other regulated environments.


• Tendering experience: BoQ take-off, pricing, and bid documentation.
