Role Description

We are in search of a Sales Team Leader to spearhead profitable and sustainable growth for Dala Technologies. The primary objective is to expand our client base from 10 to a minimum of 100 active clients within the next 12 months, ultimately surpassing 250,000 clients by December 31st, 2028. This ambitious goal will be realized by securing profitable engagements with both brands and retailers across Nigeria. The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for assembling and leading teams to optimize existing accounts and acquire new ones. We are seeking a dynamic leader with extensive experience in selling fast-moving consumer goods, a proven track record in recruitment and training, and the ability to think creatively and close significant deals. The ideal candidate should be passionate about developing people, designing and implementing productive systems, and embracing accountability for results.

Key Outcomes. The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for achieving the following outcomes:

  1. Grow client base from 10 clients to over 100 clients within the first 12 months.

  2. Achieve clients base of over 250,000 clients by December 31st, 2028.

  3. Recruit and onboard a sales team that consistently achieves monthly sales forecasts with over 90% accuracy within the first three months.

  4. Identify and address non-performing and low-performing team members within 60 days.

  5. Develop an annual sales plan with quarterly milestones and budget, subject to CEO approval during the annual planning cycle.
