DescriptionThe Bridge Coordinator, with the support of the School Director and Learning Director, takes responsibility for the day -to -day operation of provisions made by the school for children with Learning difficulties or Learning differences and provides guidance in the area of the Bridge program in order to secure high -quality teaching and the effective use of resources to bring about improved standards of achievement of all the children.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Observation – scientific observation of student activities, learning and development for children with learning difficulties.Planning and Development – planning and developing specific intervention programs for children with learning difficulties development across all domains – spiritual, cognitive, language and communication, functional performance, social and emotionalPrepared Environment – creating, maintaining and repairing the classroom materials to meet the needs of children with learning difficulties.Implementation – curriculum delivery towards the achievement of targets set in IEPs.Record -Keeping – Overseeing and monitoring the quality of IEPs and maintaining detailed information for subsequent meetings with parents as well as keeping records of children's learning and activities.Assessments and Reports – Assessing and writing reports on the child's progress, including the needs, progress and targets of children with learning difficulties every month.Community Building – communicating with and establishing a positive relationship with existing and prospective parents, facilitators and colleagues.Intervention – Leading the implementation of the intervention plan for students with additional learning needs.Qualification, Experience, Skills and CompetenciesAcknowledge Jesus Christ as Saviour.Knowledge of the stages of human development, milestones and behavioral norms.Working knowledge of the Montessori Philosophy and other theories of development.Knowledge on basic interpretation of child's IEP.Bachelor's degree in Education or Child PsychologyA minimum of 2 years' work experience in related field Professional Certification in Special Needs EducationRBT Certification Requirements Qualification, Experience, Skills and Competencies Acknowledge Jesus Christ as Saviour.
