Building Engineer – Projects Team (Port Harcourt)

About the Role

Pyale Properties is seeking a Building Engineer to join our growing Projects Team in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of residential and commercial construction projects — ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery in line with engineering best practices and Rivers State regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction and civil works on project sites.
  • Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Support project planning, cost estimation, and progress reporting.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee quality control, health & safety, and site inspections.
  • Ensure all work complies with COREN/CORBON and Rivers State Ministry of Physical Planning standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Sc. or HND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in building construction or project supervision.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, or other relevant software.
  • Registration or eligibility for COREN or CORBON is an advantage.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Integrity, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
