Qualifications:

B.sc/HND degree in nautical sciences.

Should also possess appropriate mandatory certificate.

Certificate of competency as chief mate officer.

Have completed approved training and meet the standard of competency specified in section A 11/3.

Licensed mariners in charge of the engineering department on merchant vessels who are willing to share their knowledge and experience in a classroom setting.

Ability to teach and impart knowledge in a world class maritime training institute
