Sycamore-ng is Financial and Technology (Fintech) services company, that operates a financial marketplace for lenders and borrowers. With a team of skilled professionals and cutting edge technology, we are well suited to cater for both businesses and individuals who need loans (borrowers), or want to make returns (lenders) on our marketplace.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Customer Support Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media.
  • Provide accurate information about Sycamore's products and services.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or escalate issues where necessary.
  • Monitor and track customer interactions in CRM systems to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Support loan repayment inquiries, transaction confirmations, and account-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Finance, etc.) to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to improve products, processes, and customer experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sycamore's offerings, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to team performance targets such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.
  • And every other responsibility assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Business, Communications, or related field is an advantage).
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service or support, preferably in financial services, fintech, or related industry.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to handle high-volume interactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
