Our client is an on-demand food and delivery platform designed to make ordering from local restaurants, vendors, and stores faster, easier, and more rewarding, with a stronger community focus and localized experience.

Our client is building a mobile experience that connects customers, vendors, and riders in real time. As part of our early engineering team, you'll have a direct impact on shaping the Dormot user experience and core product features.

Role Overview

Passionate React Mobile Developer (React Native ) to help build and scale Our client's mobile app. Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create seamless, performant, and visually appealing user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain the Dormot mobile app using React Native.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections for real-time data (e.g., live order tracking).

  • Implement map-based features using Google Maps API (e.g., delivery tracking, location selection).

  • Work with backend developers to ensure smooth data flow and performance.

  • Optimize app performance, ensure responsiveness, and handle edge cases gracefully.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive user experiences.

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building mobile apps with React Native

  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and mobile app architecture.

  • Experience integrating APIs and managing app state (using Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).

  • Knowledge of WebSocket or real-time data handling.

  • Familiarity with Google Maps API or other mapping/location-based services.

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

  • Experience deploying apps to Google Play and App Store.

Nice to Have

  • Background in delivery, logistics, or on-demand platforms.

  • Familiarity with or backend integration.

  • Understanding of CI/CD for mobile apps.

Job Type: Full-time
