Job Summary:

Nanny Bay is recruiting an experienced and reliable Cook for one of our hotel clients located in Ikotun, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Accommodation is fully provided by the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to the hotel's menu and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistent food taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Follow proper food handling and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Assist with menu planning, portion control, and stock checks.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and report shortages.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and hotel team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cook/Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment.
  • Ability to prepare Nigerian and/or continental dishes (added advantage).
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to the role.
  • Must be willing to live on-site (accommodation provided by the hotel).
