Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive 
Operations & Technical Manager
 to lead the day-to-day operations and technical activities of our security surveillance division. This role combines 
operational management
 with 
technical leadership
, overseeing CCTV installations, system integrations, maintenance, and support across multiple client sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 
CCTV, access control, alarm systems, networking, and surveillance technologies
, coupled with proven experience managing teams and projects within the security industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management

  • Oversee and manage all daily operations of the technical and installation teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards across all projects.
  • Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for management review.

2. Technical Leadership

  • Provide expert-level support for CCTV, IP surveillance, access control, and integrated security systems.
  • Lead system design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for new and existing clients.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.

3. Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and mentor technical staff, field engineers, and project coordinators.
  • Manage team scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and customer focus.

4. Client & Vendor Relations

  • Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for procurement and technical support.
  • Assist the sales team in developing proposals, conducting site surveys, and presenting technical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
     Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in security surveillance systems, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in IP and analog CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua, Avignon Axis, Bosch, etc.).
  • Experience with access control, intrusion detection, and VMS (Video Management Systems).
  • Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routers, switches).
  • Familiarity with system integration, server configuration, and cloud-based security platforms.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
     CCTV or networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Milestone, Genetec, etc.).
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
