JOB DETAILS:
- A Roll Turning CNC Leathe Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer-controlled machines to precision-turn and grind large rolls.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC roll turning machines, including programming and editing codes.
- Load and unload rolls, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
- Monitor machine performance, detecting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks, ensuring turned rolls meet specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to optimize production processes.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machines and replacing worn tools.
- Meet production targets, working efficiently to achieve desired output and quality.
Educational Qualification and Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Completion of on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs.
- Must have 2-9 years experience.
- Industry-recognized certifications, such as CNC certification or machining certifications
