The Head of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing sales operations across the organization. This role requires strategic planning, market development, and team leadership to achieve organizational sales objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Sales plays a critical role in aligning sales strategies with the company's vision and goals.

Responsibilities


• Develop and oversee the implementation of the organization-wide sales strategy aligned with corporate goals.


• Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities and optimizing sales performance.


• Provide strategic leadership to sales teams, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.


• Establish and nurture high-value relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.


• Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance to enhance sales effectiveness.


• Facilitate training and development programs to enhance the skills and competencies of the sales team.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards across all sales activities.


• Regularly report to executive management on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.


• Provide leadership, guidance and support in developing frameworks for data collection, assessing, understanding and integrating primary quantitative and qualitative customer data


• Oversee the collation of market and industry business intelligence to support effective decision making


• Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor initiatives and devise strategies to optimally utilize market opportunities


• Develop channel strategy to increase the company's market share

Qualifications

. Minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in financial services.


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable Institution.


• Relevant experience in Investment/Wealth Management or Financial Services is preferred.


• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.


• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams


• Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.


• Strong leadership and team building skills


• Strong communication and people management Skills


• Strong selling and negotiation skills


• Strong financial, analytical and writing skills


• Thorough understanding of the organization's products and credit policies
