Job Summary

The Graduate Civil Engineer will support the engineering team in planning, designing, and executing infrastructure projects. The role requires strong analytical abilities, willingness to learn, and commitment to gaining technical proficiency in civil engineering design tools and methodologies. The candidate will work in a highly academic and structured learning environment with regular evaluations and skill-development targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects including infrastructure, water resources, roads, and environmental systems.
• Support senior engineers in preparing drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Perform data collection, site assessments, and basic engineering calculations under supervision.
• Participate actively in internal training programs, technical workshops, and scheduled evaluations.
• Conduct self-study using engineering textbooks and technical materials to meet learning milestones.
• Use engineering design software (training provided) to carry out modelling, drafting, and analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in infrastructure design, water resources, roads, or environmental engineering.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as Civil 3D, TDS, WaterCAD, or STAAD is an advantage (training will be provided).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to learn effectively through self-study, including reading technical textbooks.
• Willingness to work in a highly academic environment with strict learning targets, including regular tests and evaluations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in teams.
