Job Title: Contracts & Proposals Engineer - Remote

An Oil and Gas EPC Company is currently hiring a Contracts & Proposals Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing proposals, tenders, and contracts to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards. This role requires a technically proficient professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Development

  • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in line with client specifications and company standards.

  • Coordinate inputs from technical teams and ensure timely submission of proposals.

  • Conduct presentations, client engagements, and follow-ups to drive business success.

2. Contract Management

  • Oversee contract negotiation, execution, and administration to ensure full compliance with company policies and contractual terms.

  • Manage variations, renewals, and amendments to maintain up-to-date contract records.

3. Tender Management

  • Lead the entire tendering process—from bid preparation and submission to post-bid evaluations.

  • Ensure adherence to client requirements, timelines, and documentation standards.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and sales teams to align project objectives and communication.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.

5. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks in proposals and contracts and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure the company's commercial and technical interests are well-protected.

Requirements

Education & Technical Background:

  • B.Eng / B.Sc in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Contract Management, Proposal Development, and Tender Management within the Oil & Gas industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management and analytical abilities.

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply industry standards (FIDIC, LOGIC, AACE, etc.).

  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Contracts Management or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).

  • Prior experience working with major Oil & Gas clients and contractors.
