About Raum Africa

Raum Africa is building the first
tech-enabled, fully managed serviced apartment network

in Africa's major cities, a hybrid model that combines
Raum-branded eco-luxury apartments (Raum Living)

with
partner-operated units (Raum Partners)

trained and powered by our tech, guest experience systems, and operational standards.

At the core is our dual platform used by both guests and property partners to book, manage, and scale real estate experiences. We currently live in
Lagos

and
Nairobi

, with web and mobile apps already in production and scaling.

to build and improve core applications for a growing real estate tech platform. You'll collaborate directly with founders, ship features that matter, and gain full visibility into product decisions all while being rewarded through equity and long-term upside.

It's perfect for someone hungry to build and grow beyond frontend into full-stack or mobile, with support and investment from the team.

What You'll Do

  • Build, maintain, and optimise features on the Raum web platform using
    React + Typescript
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver smooth UX/UI across key journeys (bookings, host tools, partner onboarding)
  • Work closely with backend and mobile engineers to ship cohesive, scalable product updates
  • Contribute to technical decisions, solve real user problems, and build for scale
  • Explore opportunities across backend (

Flutter, Dart

) as you grow
- Develop fast, test smart, and push quality without overcomplication

What We're Looking For

  • Strong skills in
