JOB DETAILS:

  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records specific to manufacturing, including cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Manage the general ledger, including reconciling accounts and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable for raw materials, equipment, and vendor payments.
  • Monitor and report on production costs, variances, and budgeting for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
  • Assist with financial audits, ensuring accuracy in records related to production and inventory.
  • Generate regular financial reports for management to support decision-making and monitor profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory standards, particularly those relevant to manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting, with a background in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and manage deadlines.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
