The ideal candidate is expected to drive sustainable top-line growth, operational excellence, and best-in-class asset utilization—while ensuring safety, compliance, and outstanding customer experience across over 200 vehicles and related equipment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & GrowthDefine and execute a 3-year growth strategy for both leasing and transport services, targeting new verticals, markets and geographiesLead market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and bid/no-bid frameworks to secure a decent tender win rateCultivate strategic alliances with OEMs, financing partners and logistics brokers to expand service offeringsOperational Delivery & Service ExcellenceOversee two pillars—Equipment Leasing and Transport Ops—ensuring excellent fleet utilization and on-time deliveryStandardize SOPs, lean workflows and real-time dashboards for dispatch, vehicle hand-over, inspections and maintenance schedulingDrive customer-centric innovations: self-serve portals, dynamic pricing engines and paperless lease/haulage ticketingFinancial Management & Commercial PerformanceFull P&L accountability: achieve annual revenue target with good EBITDA marginImplement rigorous cost controls: lease-rate optimization, route-cost modelling, fuel hedging and procurement savingsOversee credit-risk policies and collections—maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) < 30 daysAsset & Maintenance StrategyOwn lifecycle planning: acquisition, utilization monitoring, remarketing and fleet renewal to minimize total cost of ownership (TCO)Oversea the Maintenance team to drive predictive-maintenance programs—cut unplanned downtime and MTTREnsure spare-parts optimization and vendor SLAs to support workshop throughputHealth, Safety & Regulatory ComplianceChampion a zero-harm environment: target 100% compliance in internal/external auditsMaintain licensing, permits and insurance coverages for all assets and drivers at 100% validityOversee incident investigations, root-cause analyses and corrective actions to eliminate repeat eventsPeople Leadership & CultureBuild a high-performing Team across leasing, dispatch, maintenance and safety—drive improved employee engagementOwn talent acquisition, development and succession planning—roll out digital and safety-certification programs for drivers and techniciansInstill a performance culture: set clear OKRs, host monthly business-unit reviews and recognize top performersDigital Transformation & InnovationSpearhead deployment of ERP–TMS integration, telematics, mobile field-service apps and BI dashboards for end-to-end visibilityPilot AI-powered route optimization and dynamic lease-pricing algorithms to drive efficiency gainsFoster an innovation mindset—run quarterly "transport hacks" to surface and scale grassroots improvement ideasQualifications:Bachelor's in Logistics, Engineering, Business or related fieldMinimum of Second Class Upper with relevant Masters Degree.15-25 years years of experience experience in leasing, transport or logistics leadership, with 5+ years P&L ownershipProven track record in fleet optimization, transport network design and lease financeDeep expertise in regulatory frameworks (transport, leasing standards, environmentalStrategic thinker with strong commercial judgment and data-driven decision-makingExceptional leadership: influences at C-Suite, inspires field teams, drives accountabilityAdvanced stakeholder management: negotiation, conflict resolution, client-centric focusOperational rigor: process optimization, performance management, continuous improvementFinancial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost-control disciplinePersonal AttributesUnwavering commitment to safety and ethical conductResilient under pressure; thrives in fast-paced, complex project environmentsCollaborative yet decisive—balances consensus-building with timely actionGrowth mindset and passion for innovation in construction deliveryMode of Application:Kindly send your CV to with the subject "GM, Leasing & Haulage".
