The Senior Associate will provide sound IP legal advice, opinions, and a wide range of associated legal services to clients in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, client management, and legal drafting skills, with an excellent understanding of intellectual property law and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide IP legal advice, opinions, procedures, and associated legal services to clients.

  2. Manage and oversee law practice operations.

  3. Delegate and supervise work assigned to office and administrative support staff.

  4. Ensure high-quality client service delivery by self, associates, and administrative staff.

  5. Draft, interpret, and review agreements, legal reports, engagement letters, and other documents.

  6. Conduct legal research on case law, legislation, and apply findings to IP protection and infringement cases.

  7. Negotiate, execute, terminate, and administer contracts, agreements, and settlements.

  8. Prepare scopes of work, fee estimates, and quotations.

  9. Manage work-in-progress and collections in line with firm policies.

  10. Adhere to time management and resource use protocols for optimal productivity.

  11. Liaise with clients and other professionals regarding work progress and related legal matters.

  12. Contribute to non-billable firm activities such as internal meetings, article writing, and knowledge sharing.

  13. Comply with the Employee Handbook and firm's procedures manual.

  14. Mentor and guide junior team members.

  15. Attend professional trainings, seminars, and conferences as required.

  16. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Managing Attorney.
