Job Summary:

The CSO will oversee all aspects of physical security, surveillance, risk assessment, and security strategy across the company's properties, sites, and facilities. This includes safeguarding people, assets, and sensitive information while ensuring compliance with local laws and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures for all company sites.

  • Coordinate security measures for properties under construction and completed estates.

  • Supervise and train security personnel (in-house or outsourced).

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.

  • Monitor CCTV systems, access controls, and alarms across all facilities.

  • Liaise with law enforcement, estate security, and local authorities.

  • Investigate and report incidents of theft, vandalism, or breaches.

  • Prepare regular security reports for management.

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment regulations.

  • Advise management on best practices for property and personal security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 6 years proven experience in corporate or estate security management.

  • Background in military, police, or paramilitary is an added advantage.

  • Strong leadership, crisis management, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Nigerian security laws, estate management protocols, and risk assessment tools.

  • Proficient in security technology systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
