Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Nigeria for a Counsellor / Senior Counsellor. The role involves guiding students through study programs and providing professional advice on university admissions, visa procedures, and career pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling students, evaluating their profiles, managing communications with international universities, conducting follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records of client progress. The Counsellor will also actively participate in educational events and provide end-to-end support for students' application processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in counseling international education pathways, university admissions, and visa processes.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities to effectively engage with students and educational institutions.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple clients and meet application deadlines.
• Proficiency in data management, reporting, and CRM software systems is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently to deliver high-quality support and services.
• Understanding of global education trends, multicultural sensitivity, and a passion for mentoring students.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification is a plus.
