They are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, ensure fiscal discipline, and strengthen the company's financial health and operational performance.

Job Summary

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership in financial decision-making, ensuring that the company's financial systems support its long-term objectives and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting functions.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of all financial data and statements.
  • Maintain compliance with CBN, EFCC, FIRS, SEC, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present financial and management reports to executive management and the Board.
  • Ensure proper tax planning, computation, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and external advisors.
  • Safeguard company assets and ensure accurate asset valuation and documentation.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Conduct financial modeling, risk analysis, and market assessments to guide strategic decisions.
  • Monitor organizational performance and provide insights to support continuous improvement.

Key Deliverables

  • Strong financial ratios and cost optimization.
  • Timely and accurate regulatory and management reporting.
  • Annual financial statements and audited accounts.
  • Comprehensive strategic and financial performance reports.
  • Effective budget preparation, monitoring, and control systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • ICAN certification is required; ACCA or CFA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a financial institution, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
