Job Title: CONTINENTAL CHEF

Job Description
We are currently seeking to employ a culinary enthusiast, versatile and highly experienced Continental Chef for the Hotel.
The qualified candidate will work hand in hand with the Executive Chef and the entire kitchen team in creating a wide variety of delicious meals based on international standards and knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Station Management: Oversee a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., hot or cold session), ensuring efficient and organized operations.
· Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with the menu and quality standards. A La Carte and Buffet knowledge.
· Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
· Inventory Management: Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
· Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
· Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef in developing new dishes and menu items.
REQUIREMENTS
· A Graduate of Culinary Degree or relevant certification preferred.
· 4+ years proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.
· Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
· Must be a Certified HACCP candidate.
