The Junior Accountant will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial

records, reconciling accounts, tracking daily sales from all stores, and ensuring smooth financial

operations across the company's locations. The role requires attention to detail, timeliness, and

a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities


•Record daily financial transactions and assist in posting journal entries.


•Track daily sales and reconcile POS, cash, and bank payments from all branches.


•Prepare and maintain petty cash records.


•Support the preparation of monthly management reports.


•Perform bank and account reconciliations.


•Assist with statutory deductions


•Maintain accurate filing of financial documents (receipts, invoices, payment vouchers, etc.).


•Support the finance team during audits and stock-taking exercises.


•Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.


•Provide administrative and accounting support as assigned

Requirements


•B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


•2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (experience in a retail)


•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software


•Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.


•Strong analytical and organisational skills.


•Integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.


•Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills


•Familiarity with POS and sales reconciliation.


•Good communication and teamwork skills.


•Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured finance department.
