As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Video Editor for EdTech/E-Learning & Instructional Designer with a strong command of Synthesia and SCORM-compliant course development. This role is central to producing engaging, standards-based e-learning content that drives measurable learning outcomes across diverse learner populations.

You will lead the design and video production of instructional materials tailored for corporate training, K-12, higher education, and professional upskilling. The ideal candidate combines storytelling, design thinking, and SCORM expertise with a passion for accessible, learner-centered education.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & E-Learning Development

• Design and develop interactive, competency-based learning modules with SCORM-compliant standards for LMS deployment.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, UDL) to create inclusive and personalized learning experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to produce learning objectives, storyboards, scripts, and course outlines that support knowledge retention and learner success.
• Draft supporting documentation, facilitator guides, and digital training materials optimized for e-learning platforms.

Video Production & Editing (Synthesia Focus)

• Develop high-quality video lessons using Synthesia to create AI-driven talking head videos with personalized avatars and multilingual options.
• Produce interactive video experiences and animations using Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects.
• Create video assets, voiceovers, visual cues, and annotations that align with instructional goals and accessibility standards.
• Optimize all videos for responsive display across desktop and mobile learning platforms. Develop and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and e-learning courses.
• Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video content creation, AI technologies, and platform best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Experiment with innovative video techniques to optimize audience engagement and user experience.

SCORM & LMS Integration

• Build SCORM 1.2/SCORM 2004-compliant learning modules that integrate seamlessly with LMS platforms like Moodle, TalentLMS, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Test, troubleshoot, and QA SCORM packages to ensure functionality, learner tracking, and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor learner analytics and use data insights to improve course performance and learner engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Delivery

• Work closely with instructional designers, content developers, illustrators, and product teams to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in agile sprints or waterfall models to deliver e-learning projects on schedule and within scope.
• Provide creative input and contribute to the ongoing improvement of content strategy and delivery methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video production, editing, and storytelling (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and video production for digital learning environments.
• Mandatory Expertise in:
• Synthesia (AI video creation for e-learning delivery)
• SCORM course authoring and integration (SCORM 1.2/2004)
• Proficiency in content design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, Articulate Rise/Storyline, or related tools.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory, digital pedagogy, accessibility (WCAG), and universal design for learning (UDL).
• Excellent visual communication and instructional storytelling skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven content creation tools like Synthesia, Descript, or Pictory.
• Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and optimization for digital platforms.

Contract Details:

• This role will begin as a contract position, with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance, creativity, and impact.
