Job Title: Assistant Griller

Salary: 70,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are urgently hiring for a Griller. The Griller will support the Grill Master in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, particularly grilled items. The role involves ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining high food quality standards, and following safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in grilling, broiling, and cooking a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables to perfection.
• Follow recipes and preparation guidelines provided by the Grill Master or Head Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grilling area.
• Ensure all grilling equipment is in proper working order, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is cooked according to specifications.
• Prepare ingredients and portion foods for grilling.
• Assist in food plating and presentation.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines, including proper storage of food products.
• Help manage inventory of grilling supplies and ingredients, notifying supervisors of stock levels.
• Provide assistance to other kitchen staff as required.
• Assist with inventory control and manage food waste.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.

Job Requirement:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, especially in grilling or barbecue settings, is preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
