Job Summary

The Content Marketer is responsible for developing and publishing engaging, informative, and high-quality content, articles, notifications and scripts for various platforms and purposes in various formats.

Job requirements

  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or relevant field
  • Experience with inbound marketing techniques.
  • Proven work experience as a copywriter, technical content writer, or similar role.
  • Experience creating strong, engaging content that converts.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent research, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with SEO and PR best practices.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
  • Create and publish email and push notifications content.
  • Create blog posts and newspaper publications.
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
  • Write, review, edit, and update content for company websites, blogs, marketing/sales materials, and social media platforms.
  • Manage the distribution/publishing of content in various formats to all relevant social channels as and when necessary.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure the publishing of brand articles for PR purposes, etc.
  • Conduct research and interviews to understand current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and contextualise findings.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
  • Assist the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Measure web traffic to content, including conversion and bounce rates.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimise content.
  • Suggest new ways to promote company offerings and reach consumers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
