SUMMARY

We are looking for a
Product Designer
who will be responsible for conducting user research, such as interviews and surveys, and use that information to create visual representations such as sitemaps, user flows, and customer journey maps, as well as design elements such as wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.

Additionally, create a positive user experience by designing the overall functionality of the product or service and iterating upon it using user-centred design thinking principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting user research to understand users' needs and pain points and using this information to inform the design of new products and services.
  • Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to test and iterate on new product concepts in collaboration with other lab team members.
  • Conducting user testing to validate product concepts and ensure that they meet the needs and expectations of users.
  • Collaborating with other team members, including engineers, product managers, and business strategists, to ensure that UX design is integrated throughout the product development.
  • Developing a design strategy that aligns with the overall goals and objectives to ensure that the user experience is at the forefront of all product development activities.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to other UX designers, mentoring and coaching them to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Staying current with the latest design trends and technologies and actively contributing to innovation efforts by proposing new ideas and approaches to improve the user experience of products and services.

EDUCATION

General Education

  • First degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or other related area

EXPERIENCE

General Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in User Experience Design (with 2 years of experience in Design Thinking Practices)
  • Development and execution of Product Experiences to achieve Problem-Solution-fit.
  • Hands-on experience designing product experiences that delivers customer-centric solutions
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive design solutions using user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
  • Experience analyzing research findings and turning insights into actionable recommendations, journey maps, personas, and opportunity areas.
  • Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
  • Ability to document and present design decisions to stakeholders, with strong storytelling and communication skills.
  • Prior experience contributing to fast-paced experimentation environments
