AC Technician

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and client satisfaction.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems and components.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC units.
• Install and replace compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and other components.
• Ensure refrigerant handling complies with safety and environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Test system performance using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and update job records accurately.
• Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC/R or related field.
• Proven experience as an HVAC or refrigeration technician.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to use HVAC diagnostic tools and instruments.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call when required.
