We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at our supermarket in Ajah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing cash and POS systems, and providing excellent customer service. If you are organized, trustworthy, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Operate POS (Point of Sale) system to process cash, card, and mobile payments.

Accurately scan items and ensure correct prices.

Handle customer transactions efficiently and with a friendly attitude.

Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Assist customers with inquiries and provide helpful product information.

Ensure daily cash reconciliation and balance your till at the end of your shift.

Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or store manager.

Requirements

SSCE/WAEC/NECO certificate or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing retail role (preferred).

Basic math and computer skills.

Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak hours.

Must live in or around Ajah or have reliable means of transportation to the area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦70,000.00 per month
