Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a QA/QC Manager based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The QA/QC Manager will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for all projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems, conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high levels of product and service quality. The role requires effective leadership to mentor and guide team members toward achieving quality goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes, including development and implementation of quality standards and protocols.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards in the oil and gas sector, with experience in audits and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills for addressing quality-related challenges and driving continuous improvement.
Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ) or related fields is a plus.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools is considered an asset.
Experience with international projects and collaboration with global teams is an advantage.
