driven ideas podcasts, branded content, and original IP from inception to distribution.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized, enthusiastic Podcast Studio Coordinator to

support the end-to-end execution of podcast projects at Mother. You'll work closely

with podcast clients, technical crews, editors, and creatives to ensure each show is well-

prepped, on-schedule, and delivered at a high standard.

This is a creative & logistics heavy, relationship-sensitive role suited to someone who

thrives behind the scenes and loves supporting creators to do their best work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Session Prep & Scheduling


• Coordinate booking and scheduling of podcast recordings (studio or remote)


• Send call sheets, reminders, and prep materials to hosts and guests


• Set up rooms and manage studio readiness before each session

Production Coordination


• Track production progress and episode timelines


• Maintain shot lists, edit notes, and episode documentation


• Liaise with editors and sound designers to ensure timely post-production


• Support technical team during live recordings or tapings

File & Content Management


• Ensure raw audio/video files are backed up, labeled, and delivered correctly


• Manage storage and archiving of completed episodes


• Track content approvals and manage feedback from clients

Team Communication


• Coordinate across creators, production crew, editors, and marketing


• Take meeting notes and action items during team/client syncs


• Maintain up-to-date production calendars and delivery trackers

Marketing Support


• Assist with show notes, episode descriptions, and social copy drafts


• Coordinate with the design team for audiograms, thumbnails, and promo assets


• Support publishing/uploading to podcast platforms

REQUIRED SKILLSETS


• At least 1 -2 years of experience in creative or media production environments


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communicator – written and verbal


• Comfortable using project management tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Trello, or

Airtable


• Familiarity with podcast workflows, even if not deeply technical


• Proactive, accountable, and responsive under pressure

BONUS EXPERIENCE


• Prior podcast or audio production experience (as intern or assistant)


• Basic audio editing knowledge (e.g., Audacity, Descript, Adobe Audition)


• Experience with digital content publishing or social media rollout
