Growth Marketing Specialist – Full-Time (Hybrid)

About the Role

OnIt is a fast-growing home service technology platform that connects households and businesses to reliable service providers and artisans for domestic and skilled support needs while providing opportunities for artisans and service providers in the informal sector.

We are hiring a Growth Marketing Specialist to be responsible for driving user acquisition, activation, and retention across OnIt's channels. The role focuses on executing growth experiments, optimizing digital campaigns, improving referral performance, and building sustainable user funnels targeted at households, businesses, diasporans, and broader customer segments. The ideal candidate will manage our full marketing and customer communication function.

The ideal candidate is organized, steady, and able to translate marketing activities into real customer growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute monthly marketing campaigns across all service categories.
  • Manage paid advertising on Meta, Google, and WhatsApp.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert enquiries to paid orders through direct follow-up.
  • Oversee all customer-facing communication channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, website).
  • Direct enquiries and feedback to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Manage customer accounts within an assigned portfolio and encourage repeat usage.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts by running structured follow-ups.
  • Oversee the content calendar and supervise designers and creators.
  • Approve posts, captions, and marketing materials before publication.
  • Support Field Officers and Community Ambassadors with marketing resources.
  • Track campaign results, analyse performance, and prepare weekly reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • HND or BSc in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google, Meta Ads Manager and basic analytics tools.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working with designers, content creators, and field teams.
