Job DescriptionWorking with the Project Manager and reporting to the Chief Accountant to provide accounting and financial support in the areas of project performance metrics, project cost, reporting requirement and providing field accounting support
Gather, analyze and report on operating expenses mainly for the projects.
Reconciling all project cost and all project billings.
Provide various field accounting functions.
Preparation of operating expense accruals in a timely and accurate manner.
Preparation of month end closure and trial balances.
Prepare monthly reconciliation statements.
QualificationsBSC/HND Accounting, Banking & Finance {Second class lower) from any reputable institution.
Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
Working Experience 2-3 years.
Must be very conversant with accounting packages
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be confident, hardworking, honest and result-oriented.
Must have good command of written and spoken English.
Must be able to maintain proper accounting records.
Must be ready to learn (Self-development}
Must ensure consistent and quality financial and Management reporting
