Overview
The Social Media and Administrative Support Officer plays a key role in strengthening the school's image and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is creative, organised, and passionate about sharing the heart of Hampos Academy with parents and the wider community. This person will manage the school's social media presence while providing reliable administrative support to keep school activities running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Create and post engaging content that highlights school activities, achievements, and values.
- Manage the school's social media pages by posting regularly, responding to messages, and interacting with followers in a warm and professional manner.
- Capture photos and short videos of school events and classroom moments where appropriate.
- Work with teachers and school leaders to gather accurate and meaningful content.
- Track analytics to improve engagement and refine content strategy.
Administrative Support
- Assist with daily administrative tasks such as record keeping, documentation, filing, and preparation of school materials.
- Support communication efforts including drafting notices, managing emails, and coordinating announcements.
- Help with the organisation of school events, meetings, and schedules.
- Provide basic front desk assistance when required, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for parents and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in social media management, office administration, or communications.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic editing apps.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a school environment.
