Our client, a fast-growing mid-sized manufacturing company with a single factory location, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial strategy and operations.

This role is critical, and the client is specifically seeking a mid-career accountant with strong audit experience from a reputable audit firm, particularly those who have audited manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and management reports.

Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls across the organization.

Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring full documentation and readiness.

Provide financial insights and strategic guidance to executive management.

Support operational efficiency and profitability across departments.

Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in audit, specifically auditing manufacturing companies, from a reputable audit firm.

Mid-career professional with strong leadership capability and readiness to step into a strategic CFO role.

In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile: A well-rounded accountant with 5–10+years of relevant experience.

Background in audit firms (Big 4 or mid-tier) with hands-on exposure to manufacturing clients.

Strong communicator, strategic thinker, and business partner to senior management.
