Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Doctor located in Lagos. The Veterinary Doctor's day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating medical conditions in animals, performing surgeries, providing preventative care, dispensing medications, and advising pet owners on routine care and treatment options. The role also involves working collaboratively with veterinary assistants and other team members to provide the highest standard of care for pets.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in diagnosing and treating animal illnesses, surgical procedures, and administering medications
  • Knowledge of preventive care, animal nutrition, and health management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with pet owners and team members
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound medical decisions under pressure
  • Compassionate approach to animal care and client services
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Lagos
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred but not mandatory
