Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions of our operations in Nigeria. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with Nigerian labor laws, and day-to-day HR administration. This role plays a key part in supporting business growth.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with Nigerian labor laws and company standards
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and probation management
  • Handle employee relations matters, including discipline, grievances, conflict resolution, and termination procedures
  • Oversee leave management, attendance, and staff records
  • Advise management on HR-related risks, workforce issues, and organizational improvement
  • Manage HR budgets and control personnel-related costs
  • Liaise with external parties such as labor offices, consultants, and service providers when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law, employment practices, and statutory requirements
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working with foreign-owned or multinational companies is a plus
