Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst based in Enugu, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The QA Analyst will focus on evaluating software and systems to identify any issues, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to standards. Responsibilities include writing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, collaborating with developers to address software issues, and conducting regression testing. The QA Analyst will also actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain documentation for testing activities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software testing processes, test planning, and test execution
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and the ability to document and report issues clearly
  • Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and experience with tools like Selenium or similar technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate findings with development teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or other scripting languages is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
