Job Summary

About the Role We are looking for a PHP Developer skilled in both native PHP and Laravel to design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of backend logic, clean architecture, and collaborative teamwork within an agile environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust web applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend and DevOps.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MVC architecture.
  • Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Git, Composer, and API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, etc.).
  • Good grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, and general web security standards.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks such as or React.
  • Understanding of Linux environments and Nginx/Apache configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
