- The Quality Control Officer will ensure that all bakery products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- The role involves monitoring production processes, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining hygiene and safety compliance within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and specifications.
- Conduct routine hygiene and environmental checks within production areas.
- Document inspection results and prepare quality reports for management.
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production staff to implement quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and other food safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
