Our Client; a company in the environmental service space are looking to hire a field operations driver.

Job Summary

The Field Operations Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and reliable transportation for field staff, samples, and operational materials to and from project sites within and outside the state. The role ensures vehicle readiness, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supports field operations logistics as required.

Key Responsibilities

 Safely transport field personnel, equipment, and samples to designated project sites and client locations.

 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any faults promptly.

 Maintain cleanliness, service schedules, and documentation for assigned vehicles.

 Ensure proper handling and secure transport of sensitive environmental samples and materials.

 Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company driving policies.

 Support logistics operations during field assignments, including loading/unloading of materials.

 Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel records, and trip reports.

 Provide updates on travel progress and promptly report delays, incidents, or route challenges.

 Ensure all necessary travel documentation (vehicle papers, trip authorizations, etc.) are up to date.

 Occasionally perform administrative or logistical support duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

 Minimum of SSCE / WAEC certificate.

 Valid driver's license (Class E or higher).

 Minimum of 3–4 years' experience as a company or field driver (preferably in environmental, logistics, or project-based work).

 Proven experience with long-distance or interstate driving.

 Good knowledge of major routes within Lagos and across Nigeria.

 Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and field safety protocols.

 Ability to work extended hours or weekends when required.

 Strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professionalism.

Salary

 N120,000 monthly net pay
