Role Description

This is a contract remote role but the candidate must be based in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Social Content Manager will manage Solaurae's social platforms, create engaging and aesthetic content, host and coordinate our live selling sessions on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, confident on camera, and deeply understands how to turn storytelling into sales. Our Social Content Manager will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule daily content across TikTok, Instagram, and other key platforms.
  • Develop short-form videos, product demos, and behind-the-scenes stories that reflect Solaurae's brand voice and values.
  • Host or coordinate TikTok Live shopping sessions to engage viewers and drive sales.
  • Manage UGC and affiliate content creators across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Stay current with beauty and social trends to position Solaurae at the forefront of clean, African-inspired skincare.
  • Collaborate with the founder and creative team to align content strategy with brand launches and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, writing, and editing skills
  • Experience with TikTok Live and other live selling platforms
  • Experience in developing and implementing content strategies
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Knowledge of skincare and beauty industry is a plus
