Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and contractual matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, disputes, and litigation when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports and legal opinions for management and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel and legal service providers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law and a valid license in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience as a corporate, commercial, or in-house lawyer.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
